Kent Winchester

Kent chose early retirement from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he founded the Red Barn Leadership Training Program. In his time at RIT, he served as career counselor and mentored 25 world-wide Outward Bound Interns. After teaching students and staff "how to take risks," he realized that he needed to follow his own advice and follow a long-time dream; leaving his tenured, senior professor position and opening RockVentures in 1995. He has hosted the American Mountain Guide Association, Fortune 500 Companies, the University of Virginia (at their location) and many others.
